Robert Perkins, DVM

I am a 1981 graduate of Texas A&M University with bachelor degrees in Biomedical Science, Veterinary Science and a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine   

My wife Julie and I have been blessed with two wonderful children… our son Walker and his wife Jo Len, and our daughter Lauren.  We have 5 cats that keep us busy… “Smokey”, “Brutus”, “Nero”, “Caesar” and “Touche”. Our 17-year-old poodle, “Baby” died this year. When I’m not at the clinic I play volleyball and do landscaping… I’m currently building a tropical paradise and so far have 130 palms in it. The people we have working here are wonderful and make my job much easier. Dr. Hubert and I went into partnership in 1998 and started Tejas Veterinary Clinic.

Francis “Pancho” Hubert, DVM

Howdy! I am a 1988 graduate of Texas A&M University with bachelor degrees in Animal Science, Veterinary Science and a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. There are a lot of Veterinarians in our family, my dad, uncle and two of my cousins are or have been Veterinarians. Jean and I have four children; Zachary, Jacob, Hannah and Seth. When not at Tejas I am usually working at our family ranch near Vattmann, Texas or coaching baseball for one of our kid’s teams. We have six horses: Blue, Smoke, Leggs, Weevil, Cactus and Pete.  Our dogs include; Red Dog, B, and W. Our cat is named after her primary place of residence… Barn Cat.

Karin Hinojosa, DVM

I am a 2002 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.  I received my bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota in 1998.  I married my husband (also a veterinarian) in June 2005 and we welcomed our first child, Edward David, into the world in October 2006.  We also have 2 dogs at home, named Calypso and Lynda.  In my spare time I enjoy taking care of my son, playing with the dogs and being on our boat.
